Newcomers

Welcome

We’re so glad you’ve taken the time to learn more about FCCC through our web site. If you’re new to FCCC, or have not attended one of our worship services, events or classes; we want to answer any questions you have. We also want to help you connect with other believers and grow in your faith. After checking out our website, if you have some questions, please contact us by email or call the church office at 904-757-7641. Also, if you have not yet attended one of our worship services, we invite you to join us this Sunday. There’s no better way for you to get a feel for who we are than by attending our worship services.

EXPECT THIS

When you drive onto the campus of FCCC you’ll find a beautiful and well kept facility with plenty of parking. In the front of our building outside of our main entrance you’ll find parking places reserved for any of our first time guests that desire to use them. As you walk into our facilities you can expect to be greeted by friendly people and made to feel welcome.

LET ME SHOW YOU WHERE IT IS

In our main foyer is an Information Center where you can find a map of our campus, bulletins/announcements, pamphlets on a variety of subjects relating to our church, and attendants who can answer any questions you may have. You will also find helpful and friendly greeters wearing name badges at the various entrance ways who will help you find your way to our nursery, children, teen or adult classes or events, or to any other area.  Also, by each entrance located by the doors is a map diagramming our facilities and where and when classes are taking place.

OUR WORSHIP SERVICES

During our worship services you can expect to hear exciting, upbeat music you’ll love and a practical Bible message that will immediately help you grow in your faith. If you have children between the ages of birth–4 we have a beautiful and safe nursery that’s available for every regularly scheduled service, an exciting children’s ministry for children between the ages of 5-12, as well as a ministry for students from junior high through high school.

CLOTHING  –  FEEL COMFORTABLE

At FCCC you’ll feel right at home if you come dressed casual or dressed up. Our church is made up of all types of people from different backgrounds.  We are more interested in helping you grow in the Lord and becoming all that God created you to be than we are how you’re dressed.

GETTING PLUGGED IN

There are many ways to get plugged in and connected at FCCC. As you do you will make new friends, have fun and grow in your walk with God.

Events & Activities – FCCC is a very busy place with something going on all the time. There are many events and activities for all, but there are also specific events and activities for those adults who have a shared specific interest. There are also regular events offered for children, teens, singles, couples, senior adults, men, and women as well. To find out what events are presently scheduled, visit our events page.

Volunteer Opportunities – One of the best ways to get connected is be  involved in one of the ministry teams at FCCC. Everyone has certain gifts and talents that God has given to them, and every believer should use their gifts and talents for the Lord and His kingdom. When you do, you’ll not only be a blessing to others, but you will be blessed with a joy and fulfillment that only God can give.

When you become a part of one of the volunteer teams you will serve the Lord with others on a regular rotational basis. You’ll get to know many people, and really become a part what God is doing here at FCCC. The rewards are great for serving the Lord – now and for eternity, and wonderful friendships are made that are lifelong. To learn more about the ministry opportunities available and to get involved, visit our volunteer opportunities page.

Membership Classes – FCCC has a vision and purpose for being. In the membership class called Growth Track, believers learn what our vision and purpose is and how they can become a part of it. To learn more about membership visit our join FCCC page.

Classes/Small Groups –  You’ll find a variety of classes being offered at FCCC throughout the year. These classes will help you to not only grow in the Lord, but connect with others who have similar interests, make new friends, and receive encouragement and support in a smaller group setting. Most of our classes are one semester long (13 weeks), held once a week, and offered at various times. You can join a class at any time during the semester. After attending a class, if you feel like another class would be more helpful to you, you can easily switch classes by attending a different one. Often it is found that the classes being offered are so interesting and helpful that it’s hard to choose between them. Well, that’s a good problem we solved by offering many of the classes again in a future semester. To learn more about the present classes being offered please visit our classes/small groups page.
